Sherman Daily Democrat November 29, 1886 Mrs. A.J. Rankin - Wife of A.J. Rankin, died at the family residence on East Cherry street yesterday morning of a throat affection, from which she had suffered for many years. The deceased was a most estimable lady, and leaves a husband and family to mourn her sad demise, and a large number of friends who will miss her smiling face and word always so full of good cheer. The funeral services were conducted at the family residence, this afternoon at 2 o'clock from whence the funeral procession moved to the City Cemetery, where all that we...happy and good woman......sight.......father we offer our heartfelt condolence in this his hour od double grief.
