February 19, 2012 SHERMAN - Sherwood Douglas, 50, passed away Tuesday February 14, 2012, at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ. Funeral service was held Saturday at St. John CME Church with Rev. Steve Lewis Sr. and Rev. R.A. Sommers Sr. officiating. Interment will be held 11 a.m., Monday Feb. 20, at West Hill Cemetery. Survivors are his brothers, Michael Douglas of Virginia Beach, Va., Mickey Douglas of Sherman; sisters, Beverly Ballard of Upper Marlboro, Md., Roberta Stanley of East St. Louis, Ill., Pamela Green and Sherrie McSee both of Sherman. The family will receive friends at 1516 N. Grant. Arrangements are under the direction of Angelic Funeral Home.
