LEVIS HALL IS KILLED WHEN HIS AUTO HITS BUS
Funeral services for Hugh Levis Hall, Sherman furniture merchant, were conducted Tuesday following his death which occurred when his auto crashed headlong into a north bound bus at the south edge of Denison Saturday night.  Services were at the Dannel-Scott chapel in Sherman with Dr. Neal Cannon and Dr. J.A. Ellis officiating.  Interment was in West Hill Cemetery.
The car in which Mr. Hall was riding apparently was driven on to the highway in the path of the northbound bus.  Mr. Hall suffered a crushed skull, chest injuries and a broken leg and was pronounced dead on his arrival at the Katy hospital in Denison.
Mr. Hall had been in the furniture business in Sherman since his graduation from Austin college in 1910 and was head of the Hall Furniture Company, established by his father in 1892.  He was a former president of the Texas Association of Furniture Dealers.  His father, Dr. H.L. Hall, died in December 1932 ahd his mother died several months later.  He was born in Sherman February 17, 1887.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Ensign Hugh Levis Hall, Jr. of New London, Connecticut, and Everett and Jack Hall of Sherman; a daughter, Mrs. D.C. Dutton of Rapid City, South Dakota; a sister, Mrs. D.C. Enloe of Sherman.
The pallbearers were J.H. Council, Dudley Browne, Ira Harmon, Robert L. Gainer, Carl W. Pelley, Norman Dorchester, R.H. Goble, L.S. Omohundro, and R.L. Hall.
