 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Services for James Thomas Lee Jensen, 53, of Denison, who passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Texoma Medical Center, will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Dannel Funeral Home at 11:00 am, with Rev. Aliene Bodholdt officiating. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 15, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. James was born to Bob and Kay Briscoe Jensen on December 12, 1957, in Sherman. He was raised in Sherman and attended Sherman schools. James was a caring husband, son, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, who loved his mother and his family. He will be missed. James was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Clark and step mother, Patricia Jensen. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Ruth Jensen of Denison; father, Bob Jensen; son, James Lee Jensen and wife Stefany of Greenville, TX; daughter, Jennifer Kay Jensen-Nelson and husband Rex of Fate, TX; step-daughters: Shana Lackey, Celena Jones, and Shanea Jones of Denison; brothers: Bobby Clark and wife Sue of Plano, Melvin Clark, Jr. of Sherman, Charlie Clark and wife Jeannie of Sherman, and Danny Ray Jensen of Sherman; sister: Cindy Clark of Sherman; step sisters: Donna Bellamy and Vanessa Walters; grandchildren: Makayla, Gage, Megan, Jasper, Ashton, Xzaveon, Emmalina, and Junior; many nieces and nephews. He Only Takes The Best God saw you getting tired, And a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you, And whispered, "Come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands put to rest.
