West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Sherman Daily Register Wednesday, June 1, 1887 The funeral of William R. Kelly took place from the late residence of the deceased on West Lamar Street, yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock. The long procession was headed by the Grayson Rifles band, the hearse under the escort of six men detailed from the company, the main body of whom followed in the rear. Religious services were conducted at the house and grave, according to the ritual of the M. E. Church South by Rev. Wm. Shelton, P. E.
