WHITE ROCK
To the Democrat:
White Rock, Tex., May 15 - The community is draped in sadness again.  The death angel has made another visit in our midst, claiming as its victim one of our best citizens, Aaron Miller.  We are all made to weep on account of the loss of this good man, though we realize that our loss is his eternal gain.  In the death of Mr. Miller we lose one of our best men.  He was sound in judgment and safe in counsel.  He has been sick for something like 15 months, most of the time confined to his bed.  He bore his sickness with patience, more so than any man we have ever seen.  The wife will miss a devoted husband and the children a loving father.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife and four children and three brothers and one sister, all of whom were at his bedside when the end came except one brother and sister, who could not reach here in time.
The end came shortly after 3 o'clock Saturday evening.
Mr. Miller was a member of Kerr's Chapel Baptist church (White Rock) and lived a devoted Christian life.  He was a member of the Masonic lodge, having been a member since March 25, 1883, and was also a member of the Woodmen of the World and the Woodmen Circle.
Funeral services were conducted at his home Sunday evening at 2 o'clock by Elder H.M. Cagle, after which his remains were taken in charge by the Masons.  Interment was in West Hill Cemetery.  The funeral procession was the longest ever seen in this community.  The mound that marked his last resting place was completely covered with flowers, all of which showed the high esteem in which he was held by his many friends.
He was born in Jefferson county, Tennessee, August 27, 1856; came to Texas, February 1, 1881 and was married to Miss Lida J. Starnes March 4, 1884.
