WINNIE DICKERMAN Called to Her Reward on Last Evening Death last evening claimed one of the pioneer residents of Sherman. Mrs. Winnie W. Dickerman, widow of the late George A. Dickerman, whose death but recently occurred. While Mrs. Dickerman had been in failing health for some time the death came rather suddenly. Mrs. Dickerman was born in Fannin county, Texas, April 8, 1836. She was married to Wm. T. Sadler and to them one son, Billie Sadler, one of the prominent newspaper writers of Texas of his time, was born. Both father and son have been called to the great beyond. Fifty-four years ago this month, she became the wife of George A. Dickerman. To this union three children were born: Mr. John Dickerman and Mrs. R.W. Yates of this city and Mrs. George Rigby, deceased. A stepdaughter, Mrs. H.A. Hawkins, who resides at Rea, Oklahoma, is here. Mrs. Dickerman was a devoted Christian, a most lovable character, in every respect. The funeral services will be conducted at the family home, 456 South Montgomery street, at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon by Revs. Forrest Smith and J.M. Binkley.
