 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas The Herald Democrat July 5, 2012 SHERMAN - Samuel Cooper, 68, died Saturday June 30, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday July 7, at the Friendly Church of God In Christ, Sherman with T.W. Johnson and Rev. Roderick Shepard Sr., Rev. Steve Lewis of the St. John CME Church eulogist. Interment will be at the Westhill Cemetery, Sherman. Public visitation will be held 12 - 8 p.m. Friday at Golden Gate Funeral Home, Dallas. Beginning Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the church, Sherman. Florals will be accepted at the church on Saturday morning. Samuel is survived by his sister Linda Daniel of Plano; brothers John H. Cooper of Sherman and Leodis Cooper of Las Vegas, Nevada. Arrangements are under the direction of James E. Smith, Funeral Director.
