 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Sherman Democrat August 10, 1961 pg. 2 Funeral services were held Friday in Dannel Funeral Chapel for Mrs. John T. Nevitt, 65, of 1503 S. Walnut, who died Thursday in Babb Nursing Home here, after a long illness. Rev. Bruce Clark, pastor of Central Christian Chruch, conducted the services. Burial followed in West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Thompson, Scott Miller, Jerry Haizlip, Hugo Adlof, Carl Brady and Vernon I. Jones. Mrs. Nevitt, the former Miss Winnie Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.T. Anderson, was born December 29, 1895, in Hunt county. She and Mr. Nevitt married August 1924 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a member of Central Christian Church. Survivors are her husband; step-son, J.T. Nevitt, Jr. of Laurel Springs, New Jersey; step-daughter, Mrs. Minnie May of Odessa; sister, Mrs. E.P. Estes of Sherman; several nieces and nephews.
