Colleen Carr Hart, 89, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 in Sherman. Graveside services were held Monday morning, October 29, 2018 at Cedar Cemetery; Chaplain Mike Hermanson officiated. Colleen was born April 25, 1929 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was married to Warren Kelton Hart on October 4, 1952 in Durant, Oklahoma. Colleen worked many years in the financial industry at both Texoma National Bank and Howe State Bank. SHe was a very talented painter who enjoyed working with both oil and acrylic paints. She loved listening to music and enjoyed her hobbies, knitting, reading, cooking and baking for her family. Her love, devotion and support will be missed by her family. Colleen is survived by her daughter, Elaine Hart of Austin; son, Dean Hart and wife, Linnea, of Plano; grandchild, Zachary Kuhlman and wife, Sarah, of Ft. Worth; Zane Kuhlman of Austin; Sydney Hart of Plano; cousin, Dorothy Rae Holley, of Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, three sisters; her husband; and son, Warren Kenton. Arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. - - - Waldo Funeral Home Warren Kenton "Ken" Hart 15 November 1957 - 24 November 2017 He was born April 27, 1925 in Corsicana, Texas to Amos Hart and Myrtle Mathew Hart. He married Colleen Carr on October 4, 1952 in Durant, Oklahoma. Warren enlisted in the Navy at the age of 18 and worked as a gunner. He went on to work 18 years for IBM as a mechanical engineer, where he developed several patents; he later finished his career with Oscar Myer. He was very talented at wood working and was a member of the Texoma Wood Crafters. Warren enjoyed working cattle and taking care of his property, and riding his motorcycle into his 80s. His family will miss his devotion to them, a keen eye for photography and his love of dogs. Warren is survived by his wife of 64-1/2 years, Colleen Hart, of Sherman; daughter, Elaine Hart of Austin; son, Ken Hart of Sherman; son, Byron Dean Hart and wife, Linnea, of Plano; grandchild, Zachary Kuhlman and wife, Sarah, of Dallas; Zane Kuhlman of Austin; Sydney Claire Hart of Plano; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and George Kuhlman; cousin, Dorothy Rae Holley, of Dallas.
