Robert Fogle 1834 - 1913 Clementia Fogle 1850 - 1911 w/o Robert Fogle The Dallas Morning News November 21, 1911 Sherman, Texas, November 20 - Mrs. Fogle, 61 years of age, wife of Robert Fogle, died at t he family home, 8 miles southeast of Sherman, Sunday night at 9:30 o'clock. Burial was in the Cedar burying ground this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mrs. Fogle was the mother of Mrs. W.H. Potter of this city and was well known in Sherman. The Dallas Morning News July 10, 1913 GRAYSON COUNTY PIONEER DIES Special to The News Sherman, Texas, July 9 - Robert Fogle, 80 years of age, and one of the early settlers of Grayson County, was found dead in his bed at his home, 8 miles southeast of Sherman, this morning at 7 o'clock by his son, Wash Fogle, who went to call his father to breakfast. He had been in splendid health for a man of his age and ate supper as usual last night, retiring shortly after 8 o'clock. Mr. Fogle died from natural causes due to old age, according to a physician. Mr. Fogle's wife died just a year ago. He is survived by 4 sons and 2 daughters, all of whom are grown. He came to Grayson County from Kentucky in 1854 and had lived on the farm where he died for 40 years.
