  Samuel Crawford 1840 - 1917 Jerusha Crawford 1848 - 1924 The Whitewright Sun Friday, March 29, 1918 pg. 3 W.H. Crawford, an old citizen of Luella, died Wednesday afternoon, age 78 years. He is survived by six children, Mrs. Jim Simmons of this city being one of them. Mr. Crawford came to Texas from Illinois in 1867, and was one of the most respected citizens of Grayson county. The funeral service was conducted at Cedar church Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment was at Cedar Cemetery.
