Joe Teel Eppler was born June 23, 1945 in Wills Point, Texas to Travis
Teel and Ruby Edna McLemore Teel. She married Rodger Dale Eppler on
February 21, 1964 in Dallas, Texas. She died Friday, December 26, 2014
at Medical Center of Plano in Plano, Texas at the age of 69. She was a
resident of Tom Bean, Texas. Rubye was a member of Grayson County Republican Women's Club. She is survived by husband, Rodger Eppler of Tom Bean; son, Dr. Edwin Marshall Eppler of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughter, Ruby Caroyn Benedict of Greer, South Carolina; grandchildren, Haleigh, Elizabeth, and David Eppler, Paul and Stephen Benedict; great-grandson, Wilder Benedict; brothers, Ted and Jerry Teel; and sister Imogene Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Linda Caroyn Frazier. Graveside services were held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Cedar Cemetery, Grayson County, Texas. Brother R. L. Ponder officiated the service. Arrangements are with Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas.
