Christian Waltz & Frances Heger Christian Waltz was born on
September 6, 1950 in Wittenberg, Germany. He died June 27, 1927 in
Denison, Texas. The cause of his death was from a fall from a vehicle.
He is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Denison, Texas.
At the age of sixteen, Christian Waltz came to America on the ship Allemania which arrived on June 10, 1867. He lived in New York for a brief time and then continued on to Grand Rapids, Michigan and, later, to Fredericksburg, Texas. He applied for naturalization in Kent County, Michigan and received his papers on May 5, 1876. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Sons of Herman. Christian married Frances Heger, daughter of Joseph Heger and Anna Maria Phildius on May 20, 1883 in Denison, Texas. Frances was born September 11, 1859 in New York City. She died on September 17, 1938 in Denison, Texas. She spent two years in Germany for schooling. Frances and her brother, Hugo Koeppen, came to Denison, Texas. She was a member of the Women's Relief Corps, Auxiliary to the G.A.R. and Bismark Fuerstin Lodge.   Children of Christian Waltz and Frances Heger Anna Lillian Waltz

Allene was born on October 12, 1901 in Denison, Texas. She died on December 6, 1979 in Denison, Texas and is buried in Fairview Cemetery. Clara Frances Waltz born August 22, 1889; died July 5, 1957 She married Roswell Carney on May 20, 1913. Christian Waltz Jr. born October 31, 1891; died June 29, 1924 Franz Hugo Waltz born November 14, 1893; died March 30, 1990 in Sherman, Texas He married Mildred Mara Laughlin, daughter of John Laughlin and Zora Curtis on August 18, 1917 in McKinney, Texas. Mildred was born May 1, 1897 in McKinney, Texas. She died November 25, 1994 in Sherman, Texas. Josephine Waltz born September 2, 1895; died November 3, 1955 She married Rembert Thornton, son of Charles Edward Thornton and Bettie Adams, on June 20, 1919. Rembert was born January 25, 1895 in Longview, Texas and died May 14, 1982 in Denison, Texas. George Everett Waltz born August 1, 1900; died October 8, 1944 He married Oma Meek, daughter of D. F. Meek, on December 6, 1931 in Caddo Mills, Texas. Oma was born August 30, 1905 and died March 22, 1934.
