Benjamin Franklin Stubblefield was born February 11, 1850 in Mooresburg, Hawkins Co., Tennnessee and died March 8, 1944 in Cooke Co., Texas. Benjamin married Mary S. Reynolds May 27, 1869 in Hawkins Co., Tennessee. She was born July 24, 1847 in Virginia, daughter of Thomas Runnells and Charlotte Anglin and died July 1, 1928 at Woodbine, Cooke Co., Texas. Benjamin and Mary Stubblefield are buried in Callisburg Cemetery, Cooke Co., Texas.

Wyatt Lee Stubblefield, born April 29, 1870 in Hawkins Co., Tennessee and died February 5, 1946, Callisburg, Cooke Co., Texas.
He married Ellen Unknown who was born October 7, 1864 in Callisburg, Cooke Co., Texas, and died February 5, 1946, in Callisburg, Cooke Co., Texas. Wyatt Lee and Ellen Stubblefield are buried in Callisburg Cemetery. Ellen had children from her 1st marriage. She and Wyatt had a daughter, Verta Mae "Vertie" Stubblefield, who was born in 1894 and died in 1965 in Callisburg Cooke Co., Texas, also buried at Callisburg Cemetery. Vertie married A. J. Osborn.

Thomas Madison Stubblefield, born August 15, 1871 in Hawkins Co., Tennessee., died on December 21, 1942 in Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas, and is buried in Callisburg Cemetery, Cooke Co., Texas. He married on July 28, 1895 in Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas to Alice (Bartlett/Bartley). Alice was born March 28, 1876 in Grayson Co., Texas. She was orphaned at a very young age and adopted by the William V. Eskew family of Whitesboro, Texas. Family tales are that her parents died and are buried on an uncle's farm somewhere near Whitesboro. The uncle's last name may have been Wiseman, or something of the sort. Alice died November 24, 1964 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Grayson County Texas. Alice was not buried beside Thomas because one of Thomas's brother, or another family member was buried in her plot. Alice's two brothers were: Allen Bartley, married December 20, 1893 in Kentuckytown, Grayson Co. Texas to Nettie Missouri Falls and Alfred Bartley. Allen died on February 5, 1953 in California, as did Alfred. Alfred never married. Thomas & Alice had the following Children: Pearl Stubblefield, Mary Stubblefield, Cora Essie Stubblefield, Alfred Lee Stubblefield, Lois Edna Stubblefield, Ada Stubblefield, Vera Elfa Stubblefield, Claude Marion Stubblefield, Arthur Stubblefield, Aubrey Leo Stubblefield.

James Richard Stubblefield was born June 19, 1874, died December 26, 1917 and is buried in Callisburg Cemetery, Callisburg, Cooke Co., TX.

George William "Bill" Stubblefield was born March 26, 1876.

John William Stubblefield was born February 11, 1877, Hawkins Co., Tennessee and died January 1969, Atoka Co., Oklahoma. He married Mallie Lone Coady about 1914, Cooke Co., Texas. Mallie was born in August 1876, Tennessee and died March 22, 1962, Cooke Co., Texas. They are buried in Callisburg Cemetery, Cooke Co., Texas.

Granville Stubblefield was born September 12, 1879, Cooke Co., Texas and died December 16, 1957, Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas.

Oscar Stubblefield was born September 20, 1885 in Texas, and died in March 1971 in Jones Co., Texas.

Charles "Charley" Stubblefield was born June 12, 1889 and died September 29, 1918. He is buried in Callisburg Cemetery, Callisburg, Cooke Co., Texas. He married Lonia Kemper.

Benjamin Franklin Stubblefield Jr. was born August 2, 1887, Cooke Co., Texas and died in May 1976, Wichita Co., Texas. He married Jo Griffith.

Pearl Stubblefield was born April 10, 1893 and died in Kansas. She married Vertie Self.

Pearl Stubblefield was born May 31, 1896 in Grayson Co., Texas and died on September 4, 1973 in Fannin Co., Texas. He is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas.

Mary Stubblefield was born in May 1898 in Grayson Co., Texas and died between 1900 and 1910 in Grayson Co., Texas.

Cora Essie Stubblefield was born October 4, 1899 in Grayson Co., Texas and died November 13, 1994 in Cooke Co., Texas. She married L. E. Hullum.

Alfred Lee Stubblefield was born October 25, 1901 in Grayson Co., Texas and died May 22, 1991 in Grayson Co., Texas. He is buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas.

Lois Edna Stubblefield was born December 9, 1903, in Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas and died May 22, 1991 in Sherman, Grayson C., Texas. She and her husband, William Herman Goldston, are buried in Dixie Cemetery, Whitesboro Grayson Co., Texas.

She married John Leonard Phelps on January 24, 1923 in Dixie, Grayson Co., Texas. Vera and John are buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas.

Claude Marion Stubblefield was born April 20, 1911 in Grayson Co., Texas and died November 25, 1945.

Arthur Stubblefield was born November 5, 1913 in Grayson Co., Texas and died March 31, 1973 in Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas. He is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas.

Aubrey Leo Stubblefield was born November 5, 1917 and still living as of December 2002. He married Lillie Norene Hudson.

John Thomas "Johnny/J. T." Goldston was born September 22, 1923 and died July 1, 2000 in Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas. He is buried in Dixie Cemetery, Dixie, Grayson Co., Texas. John married on March 27, 1946 in Grayson Co., Texas to Dorothy Faye Baker. She was born August 2, 1926, and died August 30, 1989, in Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas. Their sons are: John Thomas Goldston Jr. and Bruce Lee Goldston.

Mildred Lee Goldston was born April 24, 1925 in Sandusky, Grayson Co., Texas and died February 20, 1996 in Van Alstyne, Grayson Co., Texas. She is buried in Van Alstyne Cemetery, Van Alstyne, Grayson Co., Texas. Mildred married Dennis Earl "Pete" Ferguson on July 24, 1943, in Grayson Co., Texas. He was born November 3, 1925 in Pilot Grove, Grayson Co., Texas, son of Bessie Mae Scott and Luther F. Ferguson. Their children are: Ronald "Ronnie" Ferguson, Sherry Lea Ferguson, Dennis Wayne Ferguson, David Ray Ferguson.

Martha Lorene Goldston was born February 25, 1927. She married #1 Joe Bill Tamplen and #2 Jay Lee Shelton.

William Leon Goldston was born March 18, 1929. He is buried in Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, Grayson Co., TX. He married #1 La Wanda Nichals and #2 Charlotte Grace Lewis June 9, 1949.

Edna Mae Goldston was born on March 2, 1931, in Sandusky, Grayson Co., Texas and died December 8, 1994. She is buried in Van Alstyne Cemetery, Van Alstyne, Grayson Co., Texas. Edna married Charles Monroe Tuley February 26, 1949 in Grayson Co., Texas. They had a daughter Debra Kay "Debbie" Tuley.

Delton Franklin Goldston was born December 6, 1934 and died April 3, 1998. He is buried in Dixie Cemetery, Dixie, Grayson Co., Texas. He married Marie Antoinette Griffith December 26, 1959.

George Troy Goldston was born on October 2, 1937 in Sandusky, Grayson Co., Texas. and died March 1, 1984, Grayson Co., Texas. He is buried in Dixie Cemetery, Dixie, Grayson Co., Texas. He married #1 Jaime Ann Sagman and #2 Cherye Berry.

Jake Loy Goldston was born on October 2, 1937 in Sandusky, Grayson Co., Texas. He married #1 Beverly Sue Bailey and

John Earnest Phelps was born November 17, 1929 in Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas and died July of 1978 in Ft Worth Texas.
He married Betty Bentley September 28, 1956.

Betty Jean Phelps was born January 9, 1935. She married Weldon Slaton.

Patsy Ladean Phelps was born December 7, 1936 in Sandusky, Grayson Co., Texas. She married Joe Edd McCauley August 1, 1957 in Gainesville, Cooke Co., Texas.

John W. "Dub" Phelps was born September 20, 1938. He married Jewel Marie Chapman.

Orval Thomas Phelps was born October 2, 1941. He married #1 Barbara Flowers and #2 Marcella Holford.

Virgil Claude Phelps was born December 17, 1943. He married Joann Bridges August 24, 1963 in Gainesville, Cooke Co., Texas.

Billy Jack Phelps was born June 26, 1946 in Grayson Co., Texas. He married #1 Linda Unknown and #2 Eleanora Dean Foster
March 31, 1975 in Gainesville, Cooke Co., Texas.

Brenda Charlene Phelps was born on October 2, 1949 in Grayson Co., Texas and died March 19, 2000 in Whitesboro, Grayson Co., Texas. She married #1 Bobby Dyer; #2 Larry Young; #3 Otis Drain May 14, 1982, in Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas.

Glenda Darlene Phelps was born October 2, 1949, in Grayson Co., Texas. She married John Dale Roberts.

Rhonda Gail Phelps was born November 16, 1952 in Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas. She married Ronnie Lee Tyler.

Robert Dale Phelps was born November 16, 1952, in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas. He married Karen Hamilton.

Notes for BENJAMIN FRANKLIN "DOCK" STUBBLEFIELD, SR.:
According to Ben's great grand-daughter, Lorene Shelton, Benjamin looked Native American. It has always been said that the Stubblefield family was of Native American descent. I think it is from the Minor bloodline that was believed to be Mulungeon Indians.
