L. Roy Stinson born 1890 in Denison, Texas son of John Bazel Stinson father of Mary Stinson Roy
Stinson was well educated and excelled in mathematics and often
corrected his children's grammar. Since the occupation of
machinist in a bomb manufacturer in Ft. Worth, Texas was vital to
national security, he did not serve in the military during World War II.

Roy Stinson worked for the Santa Fe Railroad until the yards were moved
to Oklahoma. Roy chose not to move to
Oklahoma, but instead moved his family to Ft. Worth, where his daughter
was born and raised.
