Emanuel Rudasill was born September
18, 1845 in Gaston
Co., North Carolina and died November 22, 1924 in Sherman, Grayson Co., Texas, while
attending
a Confederate Veteran Luncheon. He was very proud of his service.
He married
Permalla Caroline Carpenter "Mallie" on February 10, 1871 in Sherman,
Grayson Co, Texas. Permalla was the daughter of Ehraim Carpenter and Dicy
W. Clements.
She was born February 9, 1842 in Wedowee, Randolph Co., Alabama, and
died June 4, 1925
in Sherman, Grayson Co, Texas.
Emanuel
& Permalla are buried in the West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.
