Monday, September 23, 1878 pg. 1 PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS Dr. J.A. Malcom - - -First embarked in the drug business by purchasing the stock of drugs known as the live drug store. After selling out he "hung up his shingle" and is now among the practicing physicians of Denison.  Denison Daily News Tuesday, January 6, 1880 pg. 6 Dr. J.A. Malcom This well-known physician has been a resident of Denison for the past four or five years. The first two years the Doctor was engaged in the drug business. He disposed of his drug store and has been engaged in the practice of medicine ever since. Dr. Malcom is a graduated physician and enjoys a good practice, which is constantly increasing. He is eminently gifted with all those qualities which are so necessary to a successful physician. The News cheerfully recommends Dr. Malcom to the public.
