Dr. Samuel Levin Denison Herald
September 20, 1953 Dr. SAMUEL LEVIN, NATIVE OF CANADA, CHIEF AT MADONNA Dr. Samuel O. Levin, a Canadian by birth, is presently chief of staff at Madonna Hospital. Dr. Levin was reared in Chicago and attended the University of Illinois where he also went through medical school to receive his M.D. in 1933. Interning at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Levin spent his year of medical residency in the same institution, then had a 6-month surgical residency at Woodlawn Hospital, also in Chicago. The doctor spent a year in the Army Medical Corps. He practiced at Amarillo for 2 years before moving to Denison in 1939. He is married to the former Miss Mary Dell Jacobs of Flora, Illinois; and they have 2 children, Larry, 8, and Karen, 6. The family lives at 1430 W. Gandy.
