William Henderson Myers, born 19 July 1856 in Bloomington, Indiana; died 04 Dec 1897 in Waxahachie, Ellis Co., Texas.  He was the son of Henderson Allen Myers and Manerva S. Coatney.  He married Sarah Jane Hash 30 May 1878 in Bloomington, Indiana.

Sarah Jane Hash, born 30 January 1860 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana; died Friday, 07 January 1944 in Pottsboro, Grayson, Texas.  She was the daughter of James Hash and Mary Ratliff.

Notes for William Henderson Myers:
W.H. Myers was a big man with dark hair and huge blue eyes, according to Beulah Myers Burleson.
In 1897 he had the measles and worked in the rain until he took pneumonia and died at the age of 41 years, 4 months and 15 days. It is said that he thought he just had to get his work done no matter what. He is buried in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. 

After he died, his wife and children moved to Missouri where her sister was living.  Sarah Jane Myers moved to Grayson County, northwest of Pottsboro at the turn of the century and lived there until her death in 1944.

Jim and Dollie Myers were later married in Pottsboro, Grayson Co., Texas.
