Notes
for William Henderson Myers:
W.H.
Myers was a big man with dark hair and huge blue
eyes, according to Beulah Myers Burleson.
In 1897
he had the measles and worked in the rain
until he took pneumonia and died at the age of 41 years, 4 months and
15
days. It is said that he thought he just had to get his work done no
matter
what. He is buried in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana.
After
he died, his wife and children moved to Missouri
where her sister was living. Sarah Jane Myers moved to Grayson County,
northwest of Pottsboro at the turn of the century and
lived
there until her death in 1944.
Jim
and
Dollie Myers were later married in Pottsboro, Grayson Co., Texas.
