HENRY J. HASH Henry
J. Hash, 85 years old, retired farmer and resident of the Pottsboro
vicinity 37 years, died Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock at his home on
Route No. 2, Pottsboro, after a week of illness. Funeral
services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the
Georgetown cemetery with Short-Murray funeral directors in charge.
Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery. Mr.
Hash was born in Monroe county, Indiana, June 5, 1832, and was married
at Waynesville, Missouri, to Miss Elmira Mosley on April 4, 1882.
He moved to Pottsboro from Missouri in 1900. Mr. Hash was a
member of the Christian Church. Survioving
are his widow, Mrs. Elmira Hash; 3 brothers, Tom Hash of Pottsboro; Mac
Hash of Bloomington, Indiana; and Robert Hash of Indianapolis, Indiana;
and a sister, Mrs. Jane Myers of Pottsboro.
MRS. ELLA S. HASH Mrs.
Ella S. Hash, 75 years old, a resident of Grayson county a half
century, died Monday night at 10:45 o'clock at Pottsboro. A
stroke of paralysis brought sudden death. Funeral
services were held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Georgetown
cemetery with Rev. Mr. Gardenshire officiating. Short-Murray
funeral directors were in charge of arrangements. Mrs.
Hash was born in Laclede County, Missouri, April 29, 1862 and was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mosier. After her marriage to Henry
Hash at Waynesville, Missouri, April 4, 1882, Mrs. Hash came to Grayson
county, residing at Sherman 4 years until her removal to Pottsboro,
where she spent the rest of her life. Mr.
Hash, a farmer in the Pottsobor area for many years, died July 8, 1937.
Since the death of her husband, Mrs. Hash has been making her
home with her nephew, Sam Mosier, at Pottsboro. She was a member
of the Christian Church. Surviving are the nephew, Sam Mosier; a brother, Sherman Mosier of Denison; and a sister Mrs. Jennie.... of Lebanon, Missouri.
