Home of Julian C. Feild
1004 West Bond Street
built ca. 1896
Probably Denison's finest Queen Anne Victorian style home.
Born in Pulaski, Tennessee, in 1841, Dr. Feild was the first City Physician (an official position in city government).
Later he practiced less and became a successful entrepreneur.

Feild - McClain Tapestry
The tapestry is about 12"x18". It has been folded into fourths,
so it has a cross-bend from the fold.

1100 West Sears St at North Tone Avenue.
Built in 1899 for Dr. Julian Clarence Feild, Sr. Every room in the house has a south-facing window.
After Dr. Feild's granddaughter Kathryn E. Feild married Sam Harwell, a local insurance agent, that couple occupied the home, then known as "Harwell House."
More recently, the house was called Ivy Blue (former bed and breakfast).
