Herbert Leman (Herd) Daniel Sr., born 30 October 1881 in Pottsboro, Grayson Co., Texas; died 08 Mar 1936 in Vernon, Wilbarger Co., Texas.  He was the son of Robert Daniel and Nancy Elizabeth Graham.  He married  Abbie Lea Myers 15 March 1911 in Pottsboro, Grayson Co., Texas.

 Abbie Lea Myers, born 06 March 1894 in Red Oak, Ellis Co., Texas died 26 December 1980 in Vernon, Wilbarger Co., Texas.  She was the daughter of William Henderson Myers and Sarah Jane Hash.
