OBITUARIES
Pottsboro
- Funeral service for Florence Lucille Clountz, 91, who died August 10,
1995, at Texoma Medical Center, was today at 10:30 a.m. at Georgetown
Cemetery in Pottsboro. Bob Monroe officiated. Arrangements
were under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home.
Mrs.
Clountz was born April 29, 1904, daughter of James and Nora Flippens
Cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. Clountz,
on November 23, 1969. She was a homemaker and a member of Willow
Springs Church of Christ and attended faithfully.
Survivors
include a son, George William Clountz of Sherman; a daughter, Natalie
Bauman of Pottsboro; a brother, James Cook of Golden City, Missouri; 3
sisters, Jessie Travis of Pottsboro; Daddie Cook of Pottsboro; and
Fannie Purdue of Collinsville; and 3 grandchildren.

DEATH ROLL
James
Henry Clontz, 3-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Clontz of the
Georgetown community, died at a Sherman hospital Thursday night at
11:15 o'clock after a week of illness. He had been a hospital
patient 2 days.
The infant was born at Georgetown June 19, 1935.
Surviving
are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Clontz; and grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Cook; and Mrs. Minnie Clontz of Pottsboro, Route No. 2.
Funeral
services were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Georgetown
Cemetery with Rev. G.M.M. Gable of Denison officiating.
Short-Murray, Denison funeral directors, were in charge.
