THOMAS TUCK was born Sept 15, 1814 in Halifax Co., Va., the son of John Tuck & Susanna Crowder.  By 1840 the Tuck family had moved to Blount Co, Tennessee.  There Thomas, at the age of 25, wed REBECCA COX, age 21, daughter of John Cox, on Saturday, June 25, 1840 in Blount Co., Tennessee. Rebecca was born Thursday, January 14, 1819 in Tennessee.

By April 1860, Thomas and family have moved to Grayson Co., Texas; shortly after the 1860 census was taken in July 1860, showing their residence as Sherman, where Thomas was a shoe maker. Their last two children, Samuel Houston & Rebecca J. were born in Grayson Co., Texas.

By November 1870 the family has moved to McComb, Grayson Co. Texas where Thomas is engaged in farming and son George W. was a laborer.

Both died just months apart in Collinsville, Grayson Co., Texas; Thomas died Wednesday, January 28, 1874 at the age of 59. His widow died Sunday, May 31, 1874 at the age of 55. Both are buried in the Tuck-Beasley Cemetery, north of Collinsville, Texas.

HENRY CLAY TUCK born November 30, 1842 in Blount Co., TN.  At the age of 18 he enlisted in Co. D, 1st Texas Battalion, serving in Texas, Louisiana & Arkansas. He served throughout the entire war and returned to his home in Texas to live out the rest of his life; he died November 30, 1914 at the age of 74.  Henry married Elizabeth Ann Fisher on Feb 24, 1870; she was born September 26, 1849 in Crawford Co. Missouri, the daughter of Emanuel J. Fisher & Mary Ann Deaver. Elizabeth died in 1913 in Collinsville, Texas. Both are buried in the Collinsville Cemetery. Many of Henry Clay Tuck & Elizabeth Ann Fisher’s children are also buried in Collinsville Cemetery, Collinsville, Grayson Co., Texas
RACHAEL E. TUCK born 1844 in Tennessee
GEORGE WASHINGTON TUCK born Oct. 1848 Blount Co., Tennessee; he married Mary Ellen Hackney in Collinsville; however, the family moved to several Texas counties, finally settling Oklahoma where he died in 1917.
SARAH E. TUCK born Feb. 10, 1851 in Blount Co., Tennessee; she married William Wick Hackney; both are buried in Collinsville Cemetery
THOMAS JEFFERSON TUCK born 1853, married Elizabeth Jane Hackney in 1872 in Grayson Co Texas
ADELINE CATHERINE TUCK born 1858 in Blount Co., Tennessee; she married first to E.T. Foster in Grayson Co. at the age of 17.  Upon his death after 9 years of marriage, Adeline married Napoleon Bonaparte “Bony” Cagle in 1886.  Both Adeline and Bony Cagle are buried in Collinsville Cemetery.
SAMUEL HOUSTON TUCK born Apr 7, 1860 in Grayson Co. Texas, died Dec. 27, 1939. He married Nancy Dora Nichols in 1881 and the had 4 children. Both are buried in Collinsville Cemetery.
REBECCA J. TUCK born 1865, married Robert A. Brock.  By 1910 the family is living in Erick,  Beckham Co., Oklahoma where Rebecca dies 1945 and is buried Erick Cemetery

THOMAS WASHINGTON TUCK, son of George Washington Tuck and Mary Ellen Hackney, was born August 5, 1873 in Collinsville, Texas.
At the age of 23, Tom married Claudie Herring, age 21, in Collinsville, Texas on July 11, 1897. Claudie's daughter, Madge, was almost four years old at the time of her mother's marriage to Tom Tuck.
By 1901 the parents and two daughters, Madge & Jessie Virgle, were living in Ethel, Grayson Co., Texas when their first son, Evert A. Tuck, was born. Evert was born March 20, 1901 in Ethel and died October 4, 1919 at Whitesboro, Texas at the age of 19.

Claud Hester Graham & Madge May Tuck

Madge May Tuck was born August 22, 1893 in Grayson County, Texas.  At age 22, she married Claud Hester Graham, age 25, on October 6, 1915 in Grayson Co.; they lived in Collinsville after their marriage.

Claud was born Jan 30, 1890 in Bosque Co., Texas, the son of John Holland Graham and Lena Rose Copeland.  He was the grandson
of James Richard Graham and Martha “Patsy” Glass   By 1900 Claud, his parents and siblings returned to their home county of Grayson County.

C. H. Graham worked as an oil field pumper. By January 1920, C. H., Madge and their two oldest children moved to Burkburnett,
Wichita Co., Texas.   The family lived on the Hardin Lease, near the Thrift community, about 6 miles west of Burkburnett.
This house was located on the Hardin Lease where my Grandpa Graham was an oil field worker. Lucille Graham is in the front seat of the car. Grandma Graham is in the doorway. Grandma Graham (Madge Tuck Graham) was pregnant with Jack at the time. My Mother, Zella Graham Bradley and her brother Jack were born in this house.





Early 1935, the family moved to Electra, Wichita, Co., Texas.  Madge Tuck Graham outside her home in Electra (above).
Madge died in 1964 and Claud in 1966 in Electra. Both are buried in Burkburnett Cemetery, Wichita Co., Texas.

Their first child, Doyle Hester Graham, was born July 11, 1916 in Collinsville, Tx and died August 3, 1920 in Burkburnett, Wichita Co., Tx.

Zella Estella Graham married Charles Hubert Bradley Sr., in 1942 in her parents' home, west of Electra.
