Family of Henry & Rosa Hill   The family of
Henry and Rosa Hill pose for this 1900
portrait by a Sherman/Denison photographer
named Snell. Mrs. Hill lived to be 105
and died in Sherman in 1974 as the oldest
Grayson County resident. Pictured are, from
left: Aaron, Henry, Charlie, Carrie, Rosa and
Rosa V.
After this picture Rosa had three more children, Bill, Ruth and Emma. She started making patchwork quilts at age 60 and completed over 200 before her death.
