The
family left
Wilbarger County January 1, 1920 to settle close to Davidson, Oklaho0ma
in order to farm. They stayed for two years. Just a
few weeks before the family left Oklahoma to return to Texas, Jack was
born on November 25, 1921. The family loaded up
their covered wagon and left Oklahoma in January 1922 to return to
Wilbarger County, Texas.
At the age of 20, Jack
married Margie on September 26, 1942. Jack was stationed in
Germany during World War II.

After his tour of military
duty, Jack served as a policeman in Vernon and Electra.
After
nineteen years of marriage, Jack and Margie were divorced in 1941.
Jack then married Beatrice L. James.
Jack died March 30, 1995 at Vernon, Wilbarger Co., Texas; he was the
second of the Daniel children to die, just 2 years after his older
sister

Daniel, 73, of Vernon, brother of Rena Row, of Memp his, died Thursday,
March 30, 1995 in Ver non. Services for Mr. Daniel were held
Monday afternoon, April 3, 1995 at Electra, Texas. Mr. Daniel was
born November 25, 1921 nead Davidson, Oklahoma. He moved to
Vernon at the age of 6 weeks. He served in World War II and was
stationed in Germany. Following his military service, he served
as a policeman in Vernon, and later in Electra. Upon retiring, he
returned to Vernon to live. Survivors are his wife of the home; 3
daughters, Shirley Gail Cato, Rita Wells a nd Patsy of Electra; 2
brothers, Herbert Daniel, Jr. of Vernon, and Jimmy R. Daniel of Denton;
4 sisters, Rena E. Row of Memphis; Helen Blakley of Vernon; Bonnie
Richter of Euless; and Mildred M. Oxford of Booneville, Arkansas. He was preceded indeath by a sister, Ethel Leverett of Venon in 1993; his mother, Abbie Myers Danile in 1980.
