Services for Ruthann Bass, 30, of Gainesville were held at the First Assembly of God, Saturday; burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery at Whitesboro. She was born August 24, 1976 in Greenville to Johnny Lee Sr. and Gladys Boswell Bell. She married Brian Bass on February 16, 2000 in Gainesville. She was a substitute teacher for Pilot Point ISD. Survivors include her husband; children, Jesse and Jaydon Bass; mother; brother, Johnny Lee, Jr.. She was preceded in death by her father.
