Whitesboro - Kathryne Mincey Campbell, 78-year- old former Director of Nurses at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at her home in Dallas.  Graveside services were held Friday morning, May 13 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Rev. Harold Watson officiated with burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.
Mrs. Campbell was born July 16, 1926 in the Westview Community, Cooke County, Texas, daughter of William A. "Gus" Mincey and Lula Raney Mincey.  She married Jack M. Campbell on April 6, 1947 in Sherman, Texas.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of St. Stephen's Espiscopal Church in Sherman.  She attended Whitesboro public schools.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jack M. and Marsha Campbell, Jr. of Dallas; grandchildren, Bryan Scott and Wendy Campbell; Julia Elizabeth Campbell and Joshua Stuart Campbell, all of Dallas; and 2 great-grandchildren, Riley and Morgan Campbell of Dallas.
Memorials may be made to the Whitesboro Public Library.
