WHITESBORO – Funeral services for Helen Lucille Drinnon, 86, will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas. Interment will follow the services at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home. Visitation services will be prior to the funeral service on Thursday, April 30, from 1 – 2 p.m.
She died on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Plano, Texas at Medical Center of Plano.
Helen was born on June 19, 1928 in Whitesboro, Texas to Johnny and Bonnie May Campbell. She married Earl Wilson Drinnon on April 18, 1947 in Sherman, Texas. Helen was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed going to church. She loved her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her daughters: Claudia Pierce and her husband, James, of Florida; Carolyn Dozier and her husband, Paul, of Sachse; grandchildren: Brandi Joslin, Terrance Joslin, Jr., Kristen Dozier, Shane Dozier, Kenneth Stanley, Kevin Stanley, and Johnathon Ben Meir.
She was preceded in death by Johnny and Bonnie May Campbell; her husband, Earl Drinnon; sisters: Wanda Meeks and Shirley McLaughlin; and her daughter, Candace Grizell.
