"Buster" Hawkins 4 July 1896 - 26 May 1970  Glenda Hawkins Maddox 29 April 1924 - 29 April 2005  Funeral services for Glenda (Hawkins) Maddox, age 81, were held May 3, 2005 with Jerry Fite officiating; interment followed in Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro. Mrs. Maddox passed away on her birthday, Friday, April 29, 2005 at the Silverado Senior Living Center in Houston. Mrs. Maddox was born April 29, 1924 in Whitesboro to James H. Hawkins and Nettie (McCluskey) Hawkins. She was a retired secretary for the DuPont Corporation. Survivors include son, Gary Dail Maddox of Houston, Texas; daughter, Sandra Maddox Smith of Scurry, Texas; sisters, Jean Del Giudice of Las Vegas, Nevada; Ruedean Harwell and Patsy Brock, both of Crockett, Texas; brother, Kenneth Hawkins of Leander, Texas; grandsons, Jason and J. Michael Maddox of Spring, Texas; and a great-granddaughter, Madison Olivia Maddox of Spring, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Glade Hawkins.
