Funeral services for Monie Teeters, 89, were held Thursday morning, April 21, 2016 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Marlin Harp officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery. Monie passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at Homestead of Collinsville.
She was born in Tennessee to Millard Metcalf and Gracie Lavine Sarah Caroline Davis Metcalf on June 16, 1926. Minnie was married to Joe David Tetters. She was a member of the Holiness Church of Jesus Christ in Whitesboro.
Monie is survived by two sons, Danny Joe Teeters and wife, Carol, of Collinsville and Roger Dale Teeters of Whitesboro; two daughters, Gracie Elaine Riley and husband, Larry, of Whitesboro and Cathy Darlene Scott of Whitesboro; a sister, Essie Huneycutt of Collinsville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe David; son, Richard Thurman Teeters; and several brothers and sisters.
