June 7, 1996 pg. 16 Gladys Gordon Judd Retired Grocer Gladys Gordon Judd, 82, of Highland died Wednesday of heart failure at Heritage Gardens Health Care in Loma Linda. Judd, a native of Fleetwood, Oklahoma, lived in Highland one year. She was a retired grocer. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesboro, Texas. Survivors include her son, Lynn of Highland; two sisters, Bernice Noah of Denton, Texas and Nell Renfro of Tioga, Texas; her brother, J.D. Gordon of Grapevine, Texas; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Whitesboro, Texas. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas, Bobbitt Memorial Chapel is directing. Daily Ardmoreite Ardmore, Oklahoma WHITESBORO, Texas -- Graveside services for Willard Allen Judd, 84, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Huff Funeral Home. Judd was born on April 1, 1915, at Whitesboro to L.L. and Mae Brooks Judd. He died Sept. 3, 1999, in Sherman, Texas. Owner of Judd and Bomar Dry Goods and later, Judds Department Store in Whitesboro, Judd retired in 1983 after more than 50 years in retail merchandising. Judd was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesboro and a 1932 graduate of Whitesboro High School. He married Polly Lane on Nov. 24, 1935, at Gainesville, Texas. She preceded him in death on April 16, 1987, after more than 50 years of marriage. Judd married Odessa Salling on Dec. 31, 1989. She also preceded him in death on Jan. 29, 1997. He
is survived by one daughter, Paula Kay Eppler of Ardmore; three
grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, one great-grandson, six
