 Whitesboro    Harold Wayne Scott 14 September 1935 - 28 December 1961  M. Wayne Scott 20 October 1959 - 5 September 1981 Gainesville Daily Register Sunday, September 6, 1981 A 21-year-old Whitesboro man died early Saturday of what appears to be accidental gunshot wound to the head. Dead is Marion Wayne Scott of Whitesboro. Scott was loading some of his belongings into a pickup, when he dropped a 410-gauge bolt-action shotgun on its butt, causing it to discharge. The Scotts were in the process of moving to another residence. He was loading the pickup after he returned from work at Hitchcock Industries in Sherman, about 1 a.m. Scott was born October 20, 1959 in Gainesville to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wayne Scott. On April 15, 1981 he married Tammie Nichols. Survivors are his wife; daughter, Aimee Diane Scott; mother, Marilyn Shurgart; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mann Fielder and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Scott; sisters, Cynthia Malena, Terri Lee and Michelle Shurgart.
