Celebration of Life services for Roger Dale Wilcox, 55, of Whitesboro were held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesboro with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating.
Roger was born July 29, 1961 in Sherman, Texas, son of John Marvin and Norma Rose Parnell Wilcox. He married Teresa Ann Beauchamp on December 10, 1993 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Roger worked as an inventory control planner at Emerson Processing Management in Sherman for 35 years. He was a member of North Metro Umpires Association Board of Directors and was a member of First Baptist Church, Whitesboro. Roger loved to play and umpire softball, fish/camp, shoot pool, dance and spend time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons, Stephen Wilcox and wife, Katie, and Thomas Epting; daughter and daughter-in-law, Caren & Lauren Wilcox; daughter and son-in-law, Christen and Brian Allen; daughter, Shannon Connor; and girlfriend, Debbie O'Bar; sisters, Betty Johnson and husband, David and Debra Wilcox; brothers, Danny Wilcox, Marvin Wilcox, Jr. and wife, Becky and Grady Wilcox; 11 grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny Raymond Wilcox and beloved wife, Teresa Ann Wilcox.
