Brownwood - Memorial service for Billy Rex Dutton, 77, of Brownwood was held Saturday at Huff Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro. Mr. Dutton died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at his residence.
He was born July 13, 1928 in Ft. Worth. He was a construction worker and served in the United States Army Air Corp; he was a former member of First Baptist Church of Whitesboro. He lived in Brownwood for the past 15 years and was formerly a resident of Whitesboro.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Dutton of San Antonio; step-daughters, Holly Thief, Cherry Moore, and Laurie Wier, all of Georgetown; brother, Ted Dutton of Sadler; sisters, Geneva Kennedy of Rockdale and Sue Marbury of Grand Priarie; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
