Euless - Graveside services for Rex DeVault, 94, were held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Rev. Robert Kelly officiated; services were under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro.
Mr. DeVault died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in Euless.
He was born December 22, 1916 in Leonard to Calvin "P.I." DeVault and Georgia Ann Bunch. He married Frances Vertaree in June of 1983 in Marietta, Oklahoma. He was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Army. Rex retired as service manager for Southern California Gas Company after 20 years of service. He had also served as a Baptist deacon.
He is survived by three sons, Jerry DeVault of Euless; Michael DeVault and wife Danielle of Waco; and Jim DeVault and wife, Pattie, of Irving.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
