May 10, 2013 Whitesboro - Funeral services for Claude David Fleming, 86, were held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Patterson officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. He passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 in Sherman. Claude was born March 30, 1927, son of Thomas Jefferson Fleming and Rhoda Lloyd. He married Patricia Ann Adams June 3, 1950. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Whitesboro. He was retired from the United States Air Force but had also served in the military as a United States Marine. He is survived by his children: Claude Warren Fleming of Whitesboro; Patricia Ann Washburn and husband, Floyd, of Okatie, South Carolina; Rhonda "Janie" Fridinger and husband, Dr. Frederick Fridinger, of Buford, Georgia; seven grandchildren: Jesse Fleming, Andy Fleming, David Fleming, Debbie Hudgens, Jennifer Fridinger, Kimberly Fridinger, and Jonathan Fridinger; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife and sister, Helen Cook.
