Whitesboro - Funeral services for Oras Wayne Tolleson, 63, were held Monday morning, October 13, 2003 at Huff Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joe Patterson officiated. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Whitesboro. Huff Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
Mr. Tolleson passed away Friday, October 10, 2003 at his residence in Whitesboro, Texas.
He was born in Valley View, Texas on August 23, 1940, son of Oras Byron and Lois Geneva Brock Tolleson. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the National Guard in the Cuban Crisis and worked at Weber Aircraft as Quality Assurance.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Tolleson; and sister, Patricia Tolleson.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Melton and husband, Royce, of Whitesboro; brother, Byron Tolleson and wife, Estelle, of Burleson, Texas; nephew, Scott Melton and wife, Cindie, of Whitesboro; niece, Page Whitecotton and husband, Dale, of Frisco, Texas; niece, Holly Burns and husband, Paul, of Sherman; great-nephews, Kyle Melton and Tyler Melton, both of Whitesboro; Andrew Whitecotton and Cooper Whitecotton, both of Frisco, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Paul Burns, Kenneth Melton, Royce Lynn Melton, Terry Sharber, Dale Whitecotton, and Duane Vigus. - - - Huff Funeral Home
