Douglas Michael Todd, 42, passed away Wednesday March 31, 2010. He was born December 12, 1967 in Rockledge, Florida.
Doug was a graduate of Kilgore (Texas) High School; he spent 2 years at Kilgore Junior College where he met Jane Robeson, before attending the University of Texas on the Tyler campus.
Doug and Jane were married April 15, 1989 before being accepted to the Oklahoma City University Law School.
He passed the Oklahoma Bar exam in August 1993 and went to work for Rainer Ross Rice and Binns Law Firm. He later worked for Magistrate Sam Joyner in Tulsa at the Tulsa Federal Court System and in 2002 moved to Oklahoma City and practiced law at the Phillips Murrah Law Firm.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tuttle, Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Bar Association.
He enjoyed Star Trek, Star Wars, anything wired or wireless and family travels. But most of all he loved his wife of nearly 21 years and their 4 children.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Amber Nicole (16), Sarah Elizabeth (12) and Michaela Ann (10); and son, Nathan Elliot (4), all of the home. Also by his parents, Louise and John Paul; step-brothers, Chris and Chad Paul; step-sister, Stephanie Silverman; mother-in-law, Maurice Robeson; and brother-in-law, Fred E. Robeson, Jr.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 5, 2010 at the United Methodist Church of Blanchard, Oklahoma. - - - McNeil Funeral Home
