He was born March 25, 1926 in the Macomb community, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim T. Thomas. He married Imogene Welch August 1, 1947 in Southmayd. He was an oil company contract pumper and a member of the First United Methodist Church, and a World War II veteran. Survivors are his wife; sons, James Lynn, Jerry L., Lynnie, Ricky, Church and John Thomas; his parents; brothers, J.T., Edward Andy, Price, Chesley and Doug Thomas; sisters, Hope Garland and Peggy Richardson; and 2 granddaughtesr.
