 Whitesboro  Calera - Graveside services for Carolyn Jo Perry, 70, of Calera, Oklahoma were held Friday afternoon, November 23, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Don Russell. Carolyn passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at her home in Calera. She was born June 13, 1948 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, daughter of Phillip and Myrtle Blevins Merrywell. She was a housewife and head chauffer to her family that she loved so much. Carolyn loved to read on her Kindle and loved traveling, but her greatest joy in life was being there for her family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved being able to help them out by taking them wherever they needed to go. She was always on the ready for her family. Carolyn is survived by her husband of Calera; son, Alvin Perry; daughter, Marcella Thurston; sister, Okeena Blevins; sister, Felice Worst; brother, Rick Merrywell; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Doyle Perry, Jr. and granddaughter, Cheyenne Penny.
