- Funeral services for Walter Marvin Sikes, 88, of Whitesboro were held
Friday afternoon, October 14, 2011 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in
Whitesboro. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Walter died Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the V.A. Medical Center Nursing Home in Bonham. He was born July 23, 1923 in Whitesboro. Survivors include one son, Marvin Sikes of Colorado; two step-daughters, Kay Hazelwood of Canyon and Brenda Bonner of Van Alstyne; one granddaughter; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. - - - Meador Funeral Home.
