- Funeral services for Lonnie Roy Short, 69, of Sherman were held
Friday afternoon, March 20, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in
Whitesboro with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Interment followed
at the Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Mr. Short died Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. Survivors include his wife, Sharon, of Sherman; sons, Darryl Short and Danny Short, both of Sherman; and daughter, Tammy Bohannan of Allen, Texas.
