Self, 20, Whitesboro Navy veteran, was killed instantly in an auto
accident about 2 a.m. when the car he was driving crashed into the rear
of a parked truck. Self, a civilian employee at Camp Howze, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Self, was the husband of the former Miss May Lou Green and the father of a young daughter, Linda Carol, all of Whitesboro.
