Funeral services for Sephronia Inez Rue, 68, of Whitesboro were held Monday afternoon, July 17, 2017 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesboro, with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Sephronia passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 at William P. Clements Hospital, Dallas.
She was born to Buster Brown and Linnie Opal Thompson Reedy in July 5, 1949 in Sherman. She married George Rue on August 2, 1969 in Whitesboro. Sephronia was Office Manager at Hayes Primary School in Whitesboro for 39 years. She loved to play Bingo and loved to travel. She was an avid supporter and attended all the events she could at Whitesboro ISD through the years, especially when her nephews were playing. Sephronia was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitesboro. She simply adored her family and was very proud of her husband, George, and daughters, Jennifer and Melanie.
She is survived by her husband of Whitesboro; daughters, Jennifer and Melanie Rue of Red Oak; brother, B.B. Reedy, Jr. and wife, Rhonda, of Whitesboro; and sister, Nellie Rue of Whitesboro; and brother-in-law, Rex Rue and wife, Judy, of Whitesboro; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Sephronia was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, G.W. Rue; and nephew, Ryan Rue.
