Robert Mills, Jr. was born in Snyder, Oklahoma on January 14, 1917, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Elgia Robert Mills. He married Maye Holt in
Whitesboro on October 6, 1934. They had two daughters, Leta and
Yvonne. Eliga retired as a private investigator and was a member of the Texas Investigative and Security Association. Maye served as Justice of the Peace in Whitesboro for many years. He served in World War II. He was brother to William, Van Ray, Camilla, Myrtle and Virginia. He died October 4, 1980 on his farm. He was burning brush and suffered an apparent heart attack. It is unknown if he had a heart attack or fell into the fire or if the brush fire burned to where he fell.
