Whitesboro - Funeral services for Neva Lois Nuner, 83, were held Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Chaplain Sheryl Myers officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery.
Neva passed away at her home on June 4, 2011. She was born to Marion Thomas and Lydia Ann Sanderson Aday on June 4, 1928 in Sparks, Oklahoma. She married Lloyd Nuner in Reno, Nevada in 1945. She was a Christian. She enjoyed crafts, quilting and sewing and cooking. She also enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her children: Lloyd Nuner and wife, Susie, of Monroe, Louisiana; Evelyn Burkett and husband, Bill, of Stevinson, California; Lois Spruell and husband, Larry, of Keithville, Louisiana; Donna Taylor and husband, Don, of Madison, Alabama; Wayne Nuner and wife, Anita, of Amarillo, Texas; Paula Harvey and husband, Phil, of Modesto, California; Kay Sutton and husband, Gary, of Collinsville, Texas; Terry Fuller and husband, Keith, of Whitesboro, Texas; sister, Rose Sutherland; brother, Jim Aday; many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and two brothers, Delbert Aday and Lee Aday.
