Funeral services for Frances A. Hargesheimer, 93, were held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery.
She died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Sherman, Texas. She was a daughter of James Arthur and Mary Derryberry Beane on November 27, 1920.
She married Leon Hargesheimer on June 19, 1943 in Sherman, Texas. She was a member of Bones Chapel Baptist Church. Frances loved animals, needlepoint, cross-stitch, was a collector of dolls and loved to cook. Everyone knew her as "Aunt Frances".
She is survived by sisters-in-law and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers and sisters, Alma Neal Wallis; Elton Beane; Elsie Beane; Zelma McCarter; Floy Stevens; Lillian Beane; Ireta Morrow; Cecil Mae Beane; Jim Beane; Wayne Beane; Billy Gene Beane; and Mary Jo Turner.
