   Juan Keith Blanton, Jr. (aka "KJ") was born on February 28, 2011, son of Juan Keith Blanton, Sr. and Lacreda Smith. He was a happy and friendly baby and a very giving and compassionate young man. He attended Jane Stark Elementary in Farmers Branch where he was a straight A student. When he enteered the 3rd grade at Terrell Elementary, he was reading at a 6th grade level and was considered for the gifted and talented class. He was so smart when he asked a question, he made you second guess yourself. He never met a stranger. He leaves to cherish his memory, his father and wife, Shawnda; mother; brothers: Robert, Dominic, and Monte; sisters, Stormie, Alexis, Naturi, Dezavia, KiLani, Kryshawna, and Shauntae; grandparents, Michael Blanton and wife, Tina; Phyllis Smith; and Mary Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends. Juan K. Blanton, Jr., age 10, of Farmers Branch, Texas ascended to his eternal home on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, following a short illness. Funeral service was held Saturday morning, October 2, 2021. Rev. Alton Blakely was the host pastor. Burial followed at Whiterock Cemetery. Face masks were required. Arrangements were entrusted to James E.
